Services
Take one or take the whole thing. Most clients start with monthly accounting and add payroll when they hire. Everything is quoted in writing before any work begins.
Monthly accounting & bookkeeping
QuickBooks Online, closed every month.
- Every bank and credit card transaction categorized — no month left open.
- Reconciliations checked against the statement, not just against the bank feed.
- A monthly management report: Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- QuickBooks Online subscription included and managed by us, with invoicing and card/ACH payments enabled.
- Year-round email support on your books and reports.
Business & personal tax returns
Filed on extension, never late.
- Corporations and partnerships: Forms 1120-S, 1065 and 1120, with Schedules K-1 for every owner.
- Personal returns (Form 1040) prepared together with the company so the numbers agree.
- Trusts and estates (Form 1041).
- Quarterly estimated tax calculations and payment reminders.
- Returns prepared for every state except California.
International tax
US owners with businesses and assets abroad.
- FBAR (FinCEN Form 114) for foreign bank and investment accounts.
- Form 8938 for specified foreign financial assets, and Form 5471 for foreign corporations.
- Form 8865 for foreign partnerships and Form 3520 for foreign trusts and gifts received from abroad.
- Rental income and sales of property held outside the United States.
- Foreign tax credits (Form 1116) so the same income is not taxed twice.
- Catch-up filings for years that were never reported.
Payroll
Direct deposit, taxes and forms on time.
- Direct deposit run on your schedule — weekly, biweekly or semi-monthly.
- Federal and state payroll taxes paid and quarterly forms (941, RT-6) filed on time.
- W-2s and 1099-NECs issued at year end.
- New hire paperwork: W-4, W-9, W-8BEN, and the employee-versus-contractor call made properly.
- Monthly fee quoted per employee count — ask and we will put it in writing.
Florida sales tax
Registered, filed and on file.
- Registration with the Florida Department of Revenue and your sales tax certificate.
- Monthly, quarterly or annual returns prepared from your own sales records and filed for you.
- Annual Resale Certificate issued and renewed each year.
- A written summary every period showing gross sales, exempt sales and tax due — so you can check our work.
- Address changes, filing frequency changes and DOR notices handled.
Workers’ comp & liability insurance audits
Prepared and defended.
- The annual premium audit answered with clean payroll records, not with a shoebox.
- Subcontractor certificates of insurance collected and matched to what you paid them — the single biggest driver of a surprise bill.
- 1099 payments reconciled so uninsured subs are not charged to you as payroll.
- Class codes reviewed: the wrong code can cost you thousands a year.
- Disputed audits reworked and taken back to the carrier.
Opening your company
From the name search to the bank.
- LLC or corporation filed in any state except California — name availability checked first.
- EIN obtained from the IRS, same day where possible.
- S-Corporation election (Form 2553) prepared, signed and filed.
- Form W-9 and, in Florida, the Annual Resale Certificate, ready for your first customer.
- The documents your bank will ask for, packaged and sent to you.
- Annual state reports filed every year after that.
- Support through your first months: how the entity actually works, what you can and cannot pay out of it, and what to do when the first notice shows up. You call, we answer.
Truck, Uber & Lyft drivers
Owner-operators and 1099 drivers.
- Schedule C or an S-Corporation, whichever actually saves you money at your income level.
- Mileage versus actual expenses worked both ways before we choose.
- Per diem for drivers away overnight — the deduction most preparers miss.
- 1099-K and 1099-NEC from the platforms reconciled against what hit your bank.
- Truck, trailer and vehicle depreciation, financing interest and insurance.
- Quarterly estimates so April is not a surprise.
Non-profits
Exemption, compliance and reporting.
- 501(c)(3) exemption application (Form 1023 or 1023-EZ) with the narrative and budgets the IRS expects.
- Annual Form 990, 990-EZ or 990-N filed on time — three missed years and the exemption is revoked automatically.
- State charitable solicitation registration and renewals.
- Bookkeeping that separates restricted from unrestricted funds.
- Board and donor reporting that holds up under review.
Banks, lenders & IRS letters
Quoted separately, case by case.
- Credit line and loan packages: interim Balance Sheet and P&L, Business Debt Schedule and a Personal Financial Statement for each owner.
- Accountant letters for lenders, landlords and immigration.
- Responses to IRS and state notices, including penalty abatement requests.
- Amended returns and cleanup of prior years’ books.
- Audit support and document requests.
